Love takes work. Hard work. But when you discover just how loved you truly are - it's worth it. When you first receive the love that's from above you find a new resurgence of love for others.
Every relationship gets difficult and requires time and patience (also known as, long suffering) invested into it. From relationships with your parents, siblings, family in Christ, friends and significant other.
From what I've observed and experienced the past few days - love is just like a marathon. You can't sprint through it because half way through you'll run out of steam and crumble. You can't rush it because it loses it's value and sincerity. In every relationship - pace yourself. Enjoy it. Invest and be invested in.
Love is hard, but love is worth it. And as Teddy G. likes to say, 'cause when it's good - it's a long open road.

it hurts so much, beyond words can describe, when someone turns one's back on you, decides to walk away, out of your life, completely.
