Sometimes, 'no turning back' is hard but we gotta keep movin' on...! ;)
Turns out I won't be travelling to the West Coast next weekend..! GAH! So bittersweet!
Bitter 'cause...
- I won't get to see a childhood friend marry
- I won't get to visit my fav cousin!
- I won't get to set foot on my birthplace of beautiful British Columbian (?) soil
- I won't get a much needed 'vay-cay'
Sweet 'cause...
- The ticket is redeemable up to February 08!
- I need to finish my block plans for my one month teaching block
- I need to attend this 'important' ed meeting
- I need to finish two final papers and one take home exam
(All of the above is due the Monday I was supposed to get back from Van City)
Boo... 90% of the 'sweet' ain't so sweet huh?
But I guess I have some things to look forward too...!
1.5 weeks left of school...then one month of teaching...then our two years tucked in the middle of teaching block...then summer school...then trip to NYC tucked in the middle of summer school...then summer camp work...then second batch of summer school tucked in the middle of summer camp work...then Kelly & Vince's wedding...then back to last year of school.
Wow. There's my summer. Rigghhtt up there in that ridiculously long run-on sentence paragraph. But I suppose 'run-on' already implies long. Why is the word 'long' shorter than 'short'? Doesn't seem to make sense does it...? Oh Engrish.
EEEK! I'm losing it!

School is crazy. Can't wait until these next two weeks are over!
p.s. Colliding Lights TOTALLY rocked out last night! (way-ta-go hun & band! haha)

it's too bad you're not making a trip out here. tell your mom to gimme a shout. i probably won't have time to meet up with her but it'd be nice to talk to her. :) it's been awhile. and since you can come from now til feb 08, you better make use of it! ;) I MISS YOU!
thanks for makin' it out for the dinner. when i looked into the crowd while i sang, i was starting to feel nervous n' awkward from their response...till i saw you smiling n' kept me going till the end.
