First Week as Ms.Luk

My first week of teaching is already full of exciting, funny and silly stories!

I absolutely LOVE it!

Even though it was physically draining, the students, my mentor teacher, other student teachers and the rest of the staff at JVPS have made it truly incredible!

I've learned a few things from my week already:

1. Planned lessons are BOUND to change
2. Be flexible (I had to teach gym on the fly, push back a language lesson, play bingo instead of reviewing mutiplication among other things!)
3. Marking and assessing the kids is hard
4. Being the last to leave school isn't so bad, but I won't make it a habit I promise :)
5. Prayer moves mountains...especially when my prof came in for an observation visit!
6. Sleep EARLY

As I enter into my second week out of the four - I hope I can continue to do my best to help my students learn, to challenge them and inspire them to be the best that they can be in all that they do (=

In other news...

I'M LOVIN' THIS WEATHER!!!
