Relational Response
In light of the last post - I felt action was undoubtedly required. Thus, I felt called to fast and pray about certain things.
So here is where the accountability kicks in. I'm fasting from Facebook, T.V., and caffeine. These three things in their varying ways have occupied a great deal of my time and money - so out the door they go until this fast has come to a close. If you see me surfing Facebook, wasting time on the telly or drinking a cup of Tims., I give you permission to stop me in any way you see fit. (non-violent is preferable haha).
I've decided to fast until my 23rd birthday in where I hope and have faith that God will reveal to me peace about direction and fresh vision for TODAY.
In the past couple of days since that post I struggled and thought over a few things...
If our greatest life purpose is to intimately KNOW Christ than our hearts are captivated by Who and ALL that He is and what His heart beats for. The more I think about it, the more 'relationships' resonate louder in me. God Almighty is ALL about relationships! He's a relational God in Himself! (i.e., Father, Son, Holy Ghost). But other than that....He desires relationship with us!
If God puts such high priority in relationship...the more intimately I know Him, the more I will value relationships with all around me. Like I said in the last post, the Lord's heart ministry is relational; it's people.
Perhaps, my prolonged 'sabbath' was to teach me that very lesson. To value relationships over planning programs, doing 'religious' things, official ministry...however crucial those things are to a certain extent, I would rather be known for my love relationships over my religiousness.
So...thanks. Thanks for identifying with me, encouraging me, praying for me, supporting me. From your emails, to your comments, to your phone calls, to your texts and messages - they all remind me of how important our friendships are and how much I'm cared for.

Hey Kat!!!(or my fake mommy)
dude, i hardly see you these days. wow. I was so encouraged and blessed by your genuine postings. i don't use blog but i decided to check it out during my "spare" time(my lecture is soooo boring). I love you girl! May God bless you and prosper you so that you have no more room to store all his blessings! Hallelujah! :)
hey sister! it's so very interesting how the Lord is teaching us such similar things. (i know i made a similar comment on your last posting) i used to think i was task oriented but now i'm realizing that God's changing me to value relationships more and more as well. He is TOTALLY all about relationship! it might take me a lifetime to wrap my heart around that one. :)
so... how we doing on the things we talked about then?
blessings and blessings for you Kat!
